|This is a 1922 Car Department roster dated October 15, 1922. The roster shows employees and their pay rate at that time. Note, the highest payed employee was 75 cents per hour, W. R. South and was a Lead Repairman, and the lowest paid was 47 cents per hour.|
Employees rosters are the most requested documents at our museum. This is the only documentation of any employees we have.
We are grateful to Gwen Jones for the donation of this document. Mr. W. R. "Bill" South, her Father, worked for thr MKT Railroad for over 30 years and was a Car Inspector.
We received this document December 12th, 2006
